Who could benefit from Fresh’s services?
We started listing the answers to this question during our planning stages and we listed so many different types of people and situations that it really comes down to anyone who eats! Whether you have a family, are single, cannot cook, are elderly, a new mom, injured, love to entertain or are simply too busy to cook… our services can benefit everyone.
How many days in advance do I need to order?
You will need to order 48 hours before your meal pick up day. This is to ensure the freshest ingredients and to allow us time to prepare your meals with any special instruction or ingredients. Please let us know of any allergy concerns, or specific food preferences, ie. no onions, in the comments section while you are placing your order.
Do you have vegetarian meals?
Yes, we will always have several vegetarian options on our menu to choose from, also, many of our recipes are easily modified to become vegetarian so please indicate in the comment section if you are a vegetarian.
My family has food allergy concerns, can I still use your service?
There are no surprise ingredients here at Fresh. We can provide a list of all ingredients that go into each meal to ensure that you are well informed. Please make sure that you include all allergies in the comment section when you are ordering your meals and we will accommodate your needs. We, however, are not a nut-free facility and dishes may contain trace amounts of nuts.
Where do I find all of the cooking instructions for my meals?
Each meal will be sent home with full thawing and cooking instructions. If for any reason the instructions go missing, simply log into your account and the meals and instructions will be listed there.
How many people do your meals serve?
We have three meal sizes, 4-5 servings, 2-3 servings and single sized. Our single sized meals are now available in a variety of microwavable selections, perfect for lunch or for people who do not like to use their oven.
Do you sell gift certificates?
Yes! And what a great gift idea! Give someone the ease of not having to worry about shopping and preparing meals, or allow them to select one of our fabulous retail gifts. Gift certificates are available for purchase and redemption online and in-store.
Is Fresh licensed?
We do not have a liquor license at Fresh, however, if you are hosting a private party you can easily obtain a temporary liquor license from the Manitoba Liquor Commission Control for the evening. Please contact us for details.
How much does this actually cost me?
We need people to understand that we are not a luxury priced service, even though our food is luxurious! Our meals are around $6.00 per serving. You will be eating healthy, delicious meals for less than the price of fast food. Our service is unbeatable compared to other fast food/take out/delivery meals.
How long will my entrees last in the freezer?
Chances are slim that they will stick around for too long! If they do, our meals will maintain their quality in the freezer for up to 3 months. Please cook any thawed meals within 2 days, one day if it is a seafood dish.
Are the side dishes that accompany your meals really free?
Yes! Each meal you purchase at Fresh, whether it is online or in-store is accompanied by a delicious side dish.
